Julie Herndon, Owner

Julie has always had a passion for marketing and design. From her early start working in various postions at the Tuscaloosa News, she gained a wholistic knowledge of the print and sales industry, and operating her own businesses have given her a well rounded knowledge of small business as a whole as well as the ups and downs of owning one.

In 2004 Julie decided to put those skills to use and start a web development company. After 6 years, Axcess Web Technologies has grown to be a well known business in our local as well as national market, serving hundreds of satisfied customers in virtually all industries.  Julie has been able to bring together skills such as design, marketing, and sales to understand the needs of small and medium sized businesses needing design and development, especially for a site that is both functional and attractive.

Julie and Axcess Web Technologies offer so much more than web design. She is there every step of the way to offer advice on everything from how to increase traffic to content development. Julie takes great pride in maintaining an ongoing relationship with her customers to offer suggestions on how to keep their site competitive, and she and her staff continually research web trends in marketing, design and search engine placement. This dedication will help to keep Axcess Web Technologies and it’s customers on top of their competitors.  Contact Julie today to schedule a consultation to redesign your existing website or start on the journey to building a new one today.

Tip of the Day

Know your customer. Keep a database with information about your client such as: what they purchase, how often they purchase and the last time they purchased. If you have an online store this shouldn’t be too difficult to establish and maintain. These are important because if you know what they purchase you can send them information on similar or complementary items. Knowing how often they purchase will allow you to be more proactive in the timing that you send them information on similar products. Finally, knowing the last time they purchased will help you determine if you’ve lost them as a customer. If they usually purchase every month but you haven’t heard from them in two, that’s a red flag that maybe you’re not meeting their needs anymore.
